Final NC GOP Gubernatorial Debate a Success!

All five Republican candidates for North Carolina Governor 2008, Graham, McCrory, Orr, Powers and Smith, participated in last night's debate.

BUNCOMBE COUNTY NC NEWS -- The final NC GOP gubernatorial debate was held May 1, 2008, at the YMI Cultural Center in Asheville, North Carolina. The Buncombe County Republican Party proudly hosted the event, which was said to have drawn more than 80 people in attendance. Additionally, all five Republican candidates for North Carolina Governor 2008, Graham, McCrory, Orr, Powers and Smith, participated in last night's debate.

Richard Bernier, host of "Sound of Buncombe" kindly filmed the debate as well as provided County NC News with a video clip of the event. The full debate will be air on URTV Public Access TV cable channel 20, which is available in Buncombe and Madison Counties.
