Jeremiah Harrell wins Archery Shooter of the Year 2010October 9, 2010 NC EDUCATION NEWS -- Jeremiah Harrell has won his 8th Shooter of the Year trophy from the Down East Archery Coalition, therefore, earning the distinguished title of "Shooter of the Year 2010." Jeremiah Harrell with his
bow. The 16-year-old competed in 9 out of 10 archery tournaments throughout eastern North Carolina against 17 other young adults between the ages of 15 through 17. Jeremiah had the highest total combined scores out of the 17 competitors, winning the title of Shooter of the Year 2010. Additionally, Jeremiah Harrell is a member of the Down East Archery Coalition, which has five active clubs in the Eastern North Carolina.
Lastly, Jeremiah has been sponsored by several archery equipment manufacturers, Bear Archery and Victory Archery. Jeremiah is a Home school student, whose love of sports, in addition to archery, includes baseball and basketball. Jeremiah is also an active member in his community's local Hunter Safety team. |
