NC Entertainment News
The term "entertainment industry" is actually
a misnomer for an economic sub-sector of the arts, entertainment, and
recreation sector, specifically, the performing arts, spectator sports, and
related industries. These industries are made up of establishments that;
promote, produce, or organize live presentations. However, this magazine
section will be focusing on a small entrepreneurial group known as independent
or freelance entertainers and the establishments that manage
and promote their careers in North Carolina.
This free spirted groups of actors, actresses, singers,
dancers, musical groups and artists who with their artistic style and
expression define North Carolina culture. Furthermore, this
group embodies just another aspect of the American Dream that we all seek, the
ability to market one's favorite interest or pastime successfully. Therefore,
we honor and promote these North Carolina performers with this
magazine section called "NC Entertainment."
