Final 2008 GOP Gubernatorial Debate

The Buncombe County Republican Party is proud to host the final gubernatorial debate on May 1, 2008.

BUNCOMBE COUNTY NC NEWS -- The Buncombe County Republican Party is proud to host the final gubernatorial debate on May 1, 2008, before the Primary Election. Attending this historical debate, will be the following candidates for North Carolina Governor 2008:

Bill Graham
Pat McCrory
Bob Orr
Elbie Powers
Fred Smith

One of these candidates will be battling the Democrat nominee in November to be elected the next governor of North Carolina. As mentioned earlier, this will be the final debate before the May 6, 2008, Primary Election, and also the last chance Republicans and conservatives will have to meet, greet and examine these candidates' abilities for the challenge that only one will face. In addition, everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to ask the candidates questions on how they plan to address the concerns and issues affecting their community and state as a whole.
