The Piedmont is a land of majestic rolling hills known for NASCAR racing, crafting, and furniture making, but it is also home to some of the best world class golf courses. Going further westward, one reaches North Carolina's Appalachian mountain region. Once again finding a completely different culture defined by god, blue grass music, and southern country living. Nestled in panoramic scenic mountain vistas one finds delightful natural freshwater pools, falls, and creeks, to take a refreshing dip on a hot summer's day. Nature buffs will be thrilled at the natural beauty and wildlife thriving within the vast stretches of National forest which cover the region.
